glorious
glorious has been placed on my heart. i want to use the word recently to describe the weather, the weather has been glorious. I get to put sweaters on which is fun because it gets you in the mood for the Fall with halloween and thanksgiving, it is sometimes hard when you live in south west florida. Most importantly seeing God work in my life and the lifes around me all i can say is GLORIOUS.

the kids had a great halloween. thier sister angela brought them out. beth dressed up as a cat and emma dressed as spider girl. they also dressed up their bears to match.

we are back from our week in the mountains. it was so nice to visit my mom and dad. we climbed a mountain, ate great food and enjoyed the sights and sounds of fall. the weather was just perfect. a few morning we woke up to 34 degree weather.

beth and emma even made a fairy house in the woods. it was a special week.

We are leaving tomorrow for north carolina, hopefully for some cool weather and enjoy some fall sights!!!!!!!!!!

Healing

my healing is finally here. not feeling well and diagnosed with candida, but one year later still not feeling well. a friend of mine was talking that she was diagnosed with a hormonal imbalance and had a saliva test. i asked my doctor to please run a saliva test. well the tests came back and i found out my progesterone is extremly low and my estergen is high.that is why i feel so bad!!!! my doctor put me on natural progesterone oil, this is my 2nd day on it. not feeling better yet, but i will keep you updated. hormone imbalance can bring on so many symptoms and amzingly one of the symtpoms is candida.

Did you know that an eagle knows when a storm is approaching long before it breaks? The eagle will fly to some high spot and wait for the winds to come.
When the storm hits, it sets its wings so that the wind will pick it up and lift it above the storm. While the storm rages, below the eagle is soaring above it. The eagle does not escape the storm, it simply uses the storm to lift it higher. It rises on the winds that bring the storm.
When the storms of life come upon us ... and all of us will experience them ... we can rise above them by setting our minds and our belief toward God.
The storms do not have to overcome us, we can allow God's power to lift us above them. God enables us to ride the winds of the storm that bring sickness, tragedy, failure, and disappointment into our lives. We can soar above the storm.
Remember, it is not the burdens of life that weigh us down, it is how we handle them.

the first day of school is here!!!!

it just seems like yesterday that i blogged about the girls starting school, well it has been a whole year and it is here again. the girls have new schools this year and everyone is happy. angela is driving now to school and the girls are taking the bus. it will be a exciting year!!!!

july 4th 2008 was a great day. had hot dogs and strawberry short cake. saw the fireworks from naples pier and when we went home we had fireworks all around us. i love to celebrate the USA.

vacation was a blast

we just got back from vacation. it was a blast!!! the weather was great, sites were beautiful. i really enjoyed the drive along the coast from san francisco to los angeles. it will be a vacation long remembered.

Time is flying by

I can't believe it is already june 13. so much has happened. moved into a new house recently and emma had surgery on her lip. she is doing great and healing well. i will hopefully post some pictures of her sweet face. we are going on vacation next week to CALIFORNIA. i am soooo excited. family vacation.
